Evaluation of the relationship between the mastoid process and some anthropometric points on the skull and facial reconstruction

Aim: Facial reconstruction is a method that estimates the face shape of unidentified person using clay and similar material in cases where only skull present. Due to natural events animals, integrity skeletal remains can be disrupted this makes identification hard. The aim study estimate by reference mastoid process case fragmentation at scene. Material Methods: In study, computerized tomography images total 96 individuals 51 women 45 men which were obtained from xxx University Faculty Medicine, Department Radiology, used. variables determined taken Frankfurt Horizontal plan measured Image J program. Statistics data carried out SPSS 22.0 Results: descriptive values given. Correlation analysis was used determine relationship between variables. Regression formulas developed predict missing parts if compromised facial reconstruction. Conclusion: we tried evaluate different point view. We believe set an example for future studies help forensic sciences.
